Status: Proof of Concept. BlightWarden started as an exploration of complex build-crafting and adaptive enemy systems in a tower defense shell. It's not in active production — our full focus right now is Hook, Line & Skillet, which we're building toward an actual Steam release. BlightWarden stays up because the systems work here was genuinely useful, and the models and ideas below might resurface again down the line.

Core Features

πŸ›‘οΈ

5 Playable Origins

Draft your defense from a full unit bar of five distinct playable Origins, each bringing its own playstyle, strengths, and role to the wave.

πŸ•ΈοΈ

The Warden Web

A sprawling passive skill web of roughly 70 nodes split across four directional paths — North, South, East, and West — each with its own loose identity, free to mix and combine into a build that's entirely your own.

πŸ‘Ή

Varied Enemy Roster

Face six distinct base enemy types plus a climactic boss encounter, each with unique looks, attack behaviors, and weaknesses that demand different defensive answers.

🎲

Build-Driven Runs

Inspired by the depth of action-RPG skill trees, BlightWarden is designed so your strategy rarely plays out the same way twice.

🌊

Surge-Based Map Structure

Progress through escalating Surge events built into the map structure, testing whether your build can hold the line as pressure ramps up.

🧩

Deep Customization

Combine Origins and Warden Web nodes freely to specialize, hybridize, or completely reinvent your strategy from one run to the next.

🎯

A Genre of Its Own

Built around its own distinct world and enemy identity, separate from the familiar faces of other tower defense favorites.

βš”οΈ

Hold the Line

Plant, command, and adapt as waves close in — every defense is a test of how well your build can respond under pressure.
